November Gallery Highlights

What man can stand with autumn on a hilltop and fail to see the span of his world
and the meaning of the rolling hills that reach to the far horizon? - Hal Borland

Carrie Goller - Bullseye, oil 60x60

There is no time closer to my heart than this season of changes and thankfulness. Can you feel the balance tipping between light and darkness? So many things are about to end, but at the same time, so much is about to begin.

Hayslette - Olympic Sunrise 30x36

Picture an Olympic morning - stepping out of your cabin getaway and trampling through
forest trails of crisp red and golden autumn leaves - a frost-painted mountaintop carpet. Max Hayslette has been in full mountainscape mode and we are enjoying his row boats and bright new gardenscapes as well.

Hayslette - Music of the Evening No. 7 20x24

In the coming months, we will be welcoming new artists to the gallery, more will be revealed... for now we are happy to introduce Walter Massey, Metal Sculptor.

Massey - Copper Salmon

This coming Saturday, November 12, 5-8pm, please mark your calendars for Second Saturday Artwalk! Max Hayslette will be autographing complimentary posters and showing his latest work.  Please join us and all the fine art galleries on Front Street for wine and fun. Poulsbo's annual Art in the Woods event also takes place concurrently; visit the website for more information. We hope you can visit for both events.

November 26th is Small Business Saturday, a great time to start holiday shopping and support local small businesses.  It is also the kick-off of Historic Downtown Poulsbo's Holiday Festitivies with horse-drawn carriage rides throughout downtown from 11-3. The fun continues through to Christmas. For schedule of events and more information see the website.

Carrie Goller Gallery is open Wednesday through Sunday 11:00am to 5:30pm. Located in historic downtown Poulsbo, the gallery features a mix of contemporary fine art from small to large-scale, in a variety of media, from paintings to sculpture to mobiles. We work closely with each individual buyer to satisfy their particular needs, including special orders, gift wrapping, shipping, installation or even interior design consultations. Feng Shui Tips by Shannon R. L. Davis
Artwork is super important in Feng Shui because it helps attract good Chi energy and can anchor our desires when we place it with intention. We want to surround ourselves with art we love, items we use and/or beautiful things we feel uplifted by.
~  In gratitude, Shannon
