will be signing complimentary posters at Poulsbo's
Second Saturday Artwalk September 12, 5-8pm
What a beautiful summer! We are pleased to see some signs of fall, including Max Hayslette's The Gathering series of stunning fall trees in warm, rich hues. These oils are available as 42x42 originals, and as archival limited edition prints. Seeing them in person persuades one to appreciate his mastery of Pacific Northwest subject matter.
Also, don't miss Carrie Goller's trunk show and encaustic demonstration at Bainbridge Island Museum of Art, Saturday, September 5, 12-4pm. Carrie has been hard at work creating in her Bainbridge encaustic studio. Watch the demonstration, sign up for a future encaustic class, browse the Gallery Store, enjoy live music and the Gallery Bistro's delicious menu and see the current art exhibition.
If you join us for Poulsbo's 2nd Saturday Artwalk, September 12, 5-8pm, Max Hayslette will be on hand, signing complimentary posters - Thank you Max!
Next month we will be introducing two dear old friends and local treasures to Carrie Goller Gallery. We hope you can join us at the gallery soon, or visit us online.

Max Hayslette - The Gathering No. 1
We are honored to represent Max. He has become as family to us in the years that we have known him. At 86, he continues to paint daily, often completing several paintings a week. Did you know that he keeps an easel in his bedroom, so he can awake at the wee hours and work? We are humbled by his dedication, his mastery and talent. To that end, please know that we have many additional pieces available that we are unable to show due to space constraints, and that we offer his entire catalog of over 2000 archival giclee prints. You can review Max's bio here.

Pacific Northwest mother and artist. I work from two studios, one at an old farm house in the Scandanavian village of Poulsbo for encaustic and the other -- a beach house overlooking Hood Canal for oil and sculpture.
