Granadas (In Progress), oil 12x16 SOLD

I'm still working on this painting, but it's coming along. A collector that has two of my other pomegranate paintings wants it. Hoping to get it done before Christmas.

Holidays = time to paint pomegranates!

In honor of the holidays I feel the urge to paint pomegranates. Here's an oil I am currently working on. Now the difficult, nit-picky part -- applying numerous glazes to each tiny pomegranate seed. A way off from being done, but it feels like a good start...
