For the love of art.
What is life without art? Hard to imagine, isn't it? No film in theatres, no concert halls filled with music, no poetry to read, nothing adorning walls at home or offices. We couldn't imagine living a day in that world. Why buy art? When you collect something from an artist, you're buying more than a painting, a sculpture, etc.; you are supporting moments of pure passion and joy. You are not buying just a thing, you are investing in a piece of someone's heart, a piece of someone's soul, a small piece of someone's life.
Picasso is quoted to have said, "Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life." We invite you to discover and collect works of art wherever you find them. We would love it if you found your way to the Carrie Goller Gallery to drink in the vibrants oils, exciting encaustic and other works now on display. See what speaks to your heart, buy what you love and it will enhance your life for many years to come.
We invite you to join us between 5 - 8 pm on February 13th for 2nd Saturday Art Walk for an exhibition of Max Hayslette's latest work -- to enjoy the art and the artist. The sense of mystery of the misty Hoh trail of Max's "Along the Hoh" has been garnering much attention as of late. Consider what one of his original paintings or giclee prints could do to enrich your space.
If you are looking for a special heart stone, come in and check out the Larimar Heart pendant by Charles Goller, as well as his new collection of rings, including a spectacular Rainbow Moonstone.
Carrie's heart encaustics, especially her Heart of Nature might be the inspiration for you to open your heart to more possibilities this year. From soft pastels to fiery energetic pieces, Carrie continues to create from that passionate place in her heart.
