Greetings Art Lovers,

We are open Monday - Saturday from 11 - 5:30pm and Sunday from 12 - 5:30pm. This September we welcome two new local artists to Carrie Goller Gallery!

Among numerous other awards, local wildlife photographer Bonnie Block is the recent grand prize winner of the Audubon Photography Awards (out of over 7000 photographers). Bonnie combines her love of photography and art with her lifelong passion for animals and the natural world. Her knowledge of animal habitat and behavior, combined with patience are keys to her stunning wildlife photography. Partnering with Carrie Goller she now offers encaustic photo creations.

Please join us in welcoming award-winning local impressionist artist Jeanne Edwards. Jeanne's work has shown in numerous solo and group exhibitions throughout the US. Reflecting vitality in her colorful, loose, painterly brushstrokes, Jeanne prefers to suggest reality rather than render it. Stop in to see her recent paintings and how she is able to capture light and emotion in everyday settings.

ARTWALK: Join us for historic downtown Poulsbo's 2nd Saturday Artwalk this Saturday, September 11th, 5-8 pm! Stop by for a glass of wine, visit with our artists, and view their latest creations. It's a great time for date night. Be sure to collect Max Hayslette's FREE, brand new, signed poster of Chateau d'Annecy.

ARTIST UPDATES...

Max Hayslette: Rainier and the Upper Tipsoo (above) is one of Max's latest paintings. Beautifully capturing the glow of moonlight on the water and vibrant colors of the setting sun upon the mountain, Max captures a glorious moment in time with this piece. Next, he moves to abstraction with On The Waterfront No. 1, and a peaceful waterscape with Chateau D'Annecy No. 2.

Carrie Goller: Hood Canal Sunset VI (above) is the most recent seascape painting by Carrie. She continues to be in awe of the oceanic splendor surrounding her Pacific Northwest home and catches many scenes using encaustic and mixed media applications.

Tim Pfeiffer: Introduced last month, Tim's serene landscapes remind us of the masters of old.

Anne Pfeiffer: Also introduced last month, Anne's plein air and still life oil paintings are painted alla prima with wonderfully loose brush work and colorful paint applications.

Bob Kimball: Glorious life-size salmon adorn the walls of the gallery and each one is a unique combination of stainless steel and glass. Bob is a master at capturing the spirit of these majestic creatures.

Jill Zacot: Jill's new miniatures of everyday Poulsbo life are quaint and fresh.

Sophie Frieda: Blooms and plant life are her specialty. We lovingly call her larger than life luscious oils, Floritanicals. Her latest, Dance of Light, is gorgeous in all of it's yellow hues.
