| It's July already, happy summer! What a wonderful getaway to the Oregon coast! I am grateful to my gallery crew for making it possible to take a break. Not so easy when you own a business, but I felt that capable hands were on deck. So, I thought it was time to introduce you to the people who work behind the scenes, making things happen and allowing me time to paint the new art you will see here and in the gallery.

Ann Power (Interior Designer), Robin Charters (Artist), and Shannon Davis (Certified Feng Shui Constultant) are the main players here at the gallery. They keep everything looking beautiful and organized and are some of the nicest, customer-service friendly women you will ever meet. We plan on sharing a little more about each of their talents in the future, but to start -- since it's Shannon's birthday month, we'll tell you about our in-house Feng Shui artist below. In the meantime, July is jumping - the sidewalks of Poulsbo are filled with vistors from all over the world. Art is everywhere, the weather is perfect and people are happy. It's summer and time to get out and about. And when you're out, come into the gallery and check out the new work - watercolors, oils and encaustic paintings abound. There was lots of inspiration going on in Oregon. Plus we have just received beautiful work from Max Hayslette.

For those of you new to our monthly letter, we want to let you know about Poulsbo's ArtWalk the 2nd Saturday of every month between 5 and 8 pm. There will be new works for your viewing pleasure. All the art galleries on Front Street stay open for art, music, food and late night shopping. Claire Turner, local classical violinist and Vanderbilt University student will be playing for us, so please join us this coming Saturday, July 9th. If you can't make it out this Saturday evening, stop by during the week 11:00 am to 5:30 pm Wednesday through Sunday. Carrie Goller Gallery is located in historic downtown Poulsbo at 18801 Front Street, and features a mix of contemporary fine art in the form of framed and unframed paintings, giclees, jewelry, mobiles and more - from small to large-scale, in a variety of media including watercolor, oil, encaustic, egg tempera and mixed-media. We work closely with each individual buyer to satisfy their particular needs, including special orders, gift wrapping, shipping, installation or even interior design consultations.
